WHEELING, W.Va. – The Highlands Sports Complex is once again teaming up with the United Way of the Upper Ohio Valley to hold the annual family-friendly “Spooktacular” event on Wednesday, October 21.
The indoor event will take place at the Highlands Sports Complex from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. and will feature live music, games, trick-or-treating, and a costume contest with prizes for each age group.
General admission to the event is $7 per person until October 11, and after October 11 the price will rise to $12 per person. The general admission fee includes trick-or-treating, entry into the costume contest, a hot dog and soda, and a $5 arcade card. The winner of the costume contest in each age group will receive a voucher for a free basic package birthday party at the Highlands Sports Complex.
Game tickets are available for an additional cost – families can get 15 game tickets for $7 until October 11, and after that date game tickets will be 10 for $7. Proceeds from game tickets sold will benefit the United Way of the Upper Ohio Valley.
Businesses wishing to be vendors and take part in this family event can register free of charge but are asked to provide their own candy and table decorations for their space. Vendors are asked to register by Friday, October 16 by emailing [email protected].
