The Reverse Raffle, an annual United Way of the Upper Ohio Valley board fundraiser, is set to take place on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. at Wheeling Island Hotel Casino Racetrack.
The fundraiser combines casino-style gaming, a buffet dinner, entertainment, raffles, and networking with a live reverse raffle drawing where participants have the opportunity to win cash prizes. During the raffle $50 will be awarded for every 23rd ticket drawn, $250 will go to the first number drawn, and every 10th ticket drawn will be a finalist to win the $5,000 prize at the end of the night.
Tickets to enter the raffle are $50 each, and you do not need to be present at the event to win. A separate $50 ticket is required to take part in the dinner networking event. Attendees are encouraged to wear their favorite team jersey or fan gear as a nod to the “kickoff” to football season.
