Celebrity Scoopers 2025

Celebrity Scoopers: Ice Cream, Community, and a Good Cause!

Get ready for a sweet treat with a side of community spirit!

The United Way of the Upper Ohio Valley is excited to bring back our beloved Celebrity Scoopers event, where local celebrities trade their usual roles for an ice cream scooper at Kirke’s Homemade Ice Cream – all for a great cause! For years, we’ve gathered well-known faces from our community to volunteer their time at Kirke’s, scooping ice cream for tips. It’s a battle of the tip jars and a fun competition!

Celebrity Scoopers Hits the Road!

This year, we’re taking things up a notch by taking Celebrity Scoopers on the road! We’re expanding to 5 new locations, bringing the ice cream fun—and celebrity scooping—closer to you. Whether it’s in Wheeling, Moundsville, or other local areas, you’ll get the chance to meet local celebrities all while enjoying some of the best ice cream around.

From city leaders and business owners to athletes and local media personalities, our celebrities are ready to scoop, smile, and serve you up a heaping dose of community pride. And the best part? All tips go to the United Way of the Upper Ohio Valley to support local programs that make a real difference, from healthy communities, financial security, youth opportunity, and community resiliency for families in need.

So, bring your family and friends, enjoy some ice cream, and help us make a difference in the community we love. Whether you’re a long-time supporter or a first-timer, this event is the perfect opportunity to meet the stars of your town while supporting a cause that benefits us all.
